Subject: Advertisement for invite the application form from candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRFs)/Project Fellow through walk in/on-line – Interview under the Uttarakhand Council of Science and Technology, Dehradun, Uttarakhand Project.

General conditions for Junior Research Fellow:

  1. Professionals with requisite qualifications and experience as prescribed would be eligible for being engaged as JRF. However, if suitable NET/GATE qualified candidates are not found, the candidates without these qualifications may be considered for Project Fellow as per the UCOST approved fellowship rates.
  2. JRF / Project Fellow would be engaged for a fixed period for providing high quality services to the project or for attending to specific and time-bound jobs.
  3. The appointment of JRF / Project Fellow would be on Full-time basis and they would not be permitted to take up any other assignment during the period of project with the GKV, Haridwar.
  4. The appointment of JRF/ Project Fellow is purely temporary on co-terminus basis and do not entitle the appointee to any claim implicit or explicit or any post. The appointment can be cancelled at any time by the GKV, Haridwar without assigning any reason.
  5. The initial term of appointment and subsequent extension (s) if any, shall be decided on case to case basis depending upon the specific jobs as per progress report and the time frame for its completion.
  6. The JRF/Project Fellow shall not be entitled to any allowance such as Dearness Allowance, Residential, Telephone, Transport facility, Personal Staff etc.
  7. The selection of candidates will be made through Walk-in/On-Line Interview by selection committee. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidate for attending the interview.
  8. No TA/DA shall be admissible for joining the appointment on contractual basis. JRF/ Project fellow shall be allowed TA/DA for their travel inside the country in connection with the official works as per Vishwavidyalaya rules.
  9. Candidates can directly attend the interview on the prescribed date, time, and place at GKV, Haridwar or on-line along with complete bio-data, passport size photograph and original proof of qualifications and experiences. They must also bring with them self-attested copies of their certificates. Candidate may be report in GKV, Haridwar in 0:30 hours before Interview time. After starting of Interview, admission in the same will not be allowed.
  10. Application format: Advt no., Post applied for, Project title, Name of candidate, Father’s name, Date of birth, age, Nationality, Marital status, Category (SC/ST/OBD/PH/Gen), Address for communication, Telephone No. & Email, Details of qualifications (High school onwards giving exam passed, year of passing, Name of Board/University, Subject, division with percentage of marks, Working experience {Mentioning S. No., Organization/Institute, Period (form. . . to), Nature of work and remarks}…, Knowledge of Python, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision & other software, any other additional information, list of enclosures and signature of candidate with date.
  11. Maximum Age 30 years on the date of interview. Higher age can be relaxed in case of candidate having exceptional qualifications and experience by the selection committee. Age relaxation of SC/ST/OBC/ as per Govt. of India rules.

Note: Candidates before appearing for the Interview shall ensure that they are eligible (in the required field) for the position they intended to apply.
